Applications are now open for the NIMS Internship Program 2026 in Japan, offered by the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS). This fully funded internship is open to international undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students from all academic backgrounds related to science and materials. IELTS is NOT required.

Internship Program Overview

The NIMS Internship Program provides hands-on technical research experience in materials science and related fields. Each year, 100 students are selected from around the world to work under expert researchers at NIMS laboratories in Japan.
