Eligibility Criteria

  • First-time Applicants

    • Must be foreign nationals (excluding Overseas Chinese, students from China, or exchange students) holding appropriate bachelor’s (for Master's) or master’s (for PhD) degrees from abroad. Office of International Affairs

Scholarship Benefits & Stipends

Scholarship Terms: Cancellation, Suspension & Resumption

The scholarship may be cancelled or suspended under various circumstances:

  • Lack of departmental recommendation for extension.

  • Poor academic or research performance.

  • Extended absence from Taiwan without leave.

  • Failure to complete enrollment or registration.

  • Violation of R.O.C. laws or university regulations (including receiving demerits).

Resumption: Possible if circumstances are resolved, but the lost scholarship time isn't counted toward the maximum duration. Office of International Affairs
